These three units use electrostatic precipitation technology to
remove 95% of air born particles such as smoke, fumes, and
oil/coolant mist. These units utilizes the principle of electrostatic
precipitation. The particles pass into a strong electrical field
where the particles receive an electrical charge, then the particles
pass through the collection plates which are grounded and attract
the particles. These units can be hung from the factory ceiling for
ambient air collection, or ducted for source capture.
These units clean, then recirculate already conditioned air back
into the work area. It can take as much as four times the amount
of energy to condition outside "make up air" to replace exhaust air
as it does to clean and recycle previously conditioned air. CFM

The Vomp 600 is a vertical, electrostatic based
coolant mist collector designed for OSHA and
EPA compliance. The VOMP 600 can be ducted
directly to the machine tool for source capture of
contaminants such as water-soluble, synthetic
and petroleum-based coolants and smoke. ESP
based coolant mist collectors are most effective at
a low CFM.
